Filters for Wineries

Parker domnick hunter products and solutions have been specifically developed to provide the required quality at every stage of the wine filtration process.
At the same time they protect the unique characteristics of wine, increasing process efficiency and giving producers and bottlers greater control throughout their process.
All filters are designed to stand frequent CIP and cleaning procedures without compromising their filtration efficiency.
Our product range of filters starts from pre-filters down to membrane filters (0,45μm for white wines, 0,65μm for red wines).

 

The main filters in this range are:

  • PEPLYN family of filters (PHD, PHA codes)
    They have been developed using graded pore density depth polypropylene media for clarification of wine. They have outstanding particulate holding capacity through the multi-layer depth construction providing optimized filtration for wine with high particulate loading and size distribution.

  • PREPOR family of filters (PPP,PNG codes)
    These filters will significantly reduce the numbers of yeast and spoilage organisms from wine, to provide extremely cost effective microbial stabilization. Their retention efficiency has been validated against microorganisms which are commonly found and must be removed from the wine. These filters represent the optimum choice for the protection of the final membrane filter.

  • BEVPOR family of filters (BPS,BPH codes)
    They are final pleated membrane filters. They have been validated against typical wine spoilage organisms. Combined with easy integrity testing, the filters ensure the effective microbial stabilization of wine. The advanced polyethersulphone membrane has been configured to provide high flow and cost-effective performance throughout the range of grades
