Filters for the water bottling industry

In bottled water production, dead-end microfiltration (where all of the fluid to be treated passes through the filter) can be applied to many areas including the product water itself during its various treatment stages, flavourings, ancillary chemicals.

The main filters in this range are:

• PEPLYN family of filters (PHD, PHA codes)
  Pleated pre-filters made of PP for particle filtration. They provide high dirt holding capacity, absolute retention ratings and an excellent strength to typical cleaning methods (CIP, steam cleaning) used in the water bottling industry. Their main purpose is to minimize the initial particle loading and facilitate the following filtration stages.

• PREPOR family of filters (PPP,PNG codes)
  Pleated pre-stabilisation filters made of PP. Their retention efficiency has been validated against regulated microorganisms which are of primary interest for the water bottling industry. Combining a superior level of microbial retention with a strong and robust construction to withstand frequent CIP, they represent the optimum choice for the protection of the final membrane filter.

• BEVPOR family of filters (BPS,BPH,BMS,BMH,BPT,BPW codes)
  They are pleated membrane filters for final and sterile filtration. They have been validated against typical bottled water spoilage organisms. Combined with easy integrity testing, the filters ensure the effective microbial stabilization of bottled water. The advanced polyethersulphone membrane has been configured to provide high flow and cost-effective performance throughout the range of grades.
